Washington County Sheriff's Deputy Jackie Robinson surveyed the scene of a head-on collision on Hwy. 55 near Country Place on Tuesday. Two victims were transported to the hospital via ambulance after a head-on collision. Traffic backed up, as the wreck blocked the roadway.
UPDATED:Head-on collision causes traffic congestion

A head-on collision near the Lebanon-Springfield Airport sent three people to the hospital on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a press release from the Kentucky State Police, Trooper Justin Phillips is investigating the collision that occurred at 3:50pm on Hwy. 55 at the Marion/Washington County line. 

Sixty-three-year-old Judith Filiatreau, of Springfield, was traveling north on Hwy. 55 in a 1991 Oldsmobile when she crossed the center line and struck a southbound 1995 Chevy truck, operated by 56-year-old William R. Bishop of Campbellsville.
