4-H leaf collection results announced

Congratulations to all of the students who completed a 4-H Forestry leaf collection this year. Over the next few weeks, results from the schools will be listed in the 4-H News along with photos. In today’s news are the results from St. Dominic Elementary.

St Dominic 4th Grade

Overall Champion – Danielle Wilkerson, Reserve Overall – Jordan Wheatley, 1stClass Champion Runner up – Anne T Redmon, Other Class Champions – Jacob Curtsinger, Mackenzie Dean, Teresa Fenwick, Noah Hutchins, Carsyn Kidwell, Elizabeth Osbourne, and Morgan Tirabasso. Honorable Mentions – Dakota Edelen, Ann Fallis, Brian Mendoza and Ashley Yates. Receiving blue ribbons were William Bartley, Matthew Burkhead, JD Cecconi, Kaci Corey, Emily Hall, Curry Haydon, Jesus Hernadez, Elizabeth Medley, Bailey Settles.

St Dominic 5th Grade

Overall Champion – Thomas P. Smith, Reserve Overall Champion – Mary Beth Begley, 1st Class Runner up – Thomas M. Smith, Class Champions – Jacob Graves, Evan Mattingly, Lauren Mattingly, and Mirelle Taylor, Honorable Mentions – Jenny Begley, Lindsey Cermola, Daniel Downs, Mark Grider, Jennifer Hamilton, Samuel Harmon, Elizabeth Montgomery, and Jesse Smith. Receiving blue ribbons were John Boone, Jackson Breunig, Lius Hernandez, William Robinson, Trevor Sagrecy, Carolyn Smith, Stephen Wheatley.

UPCOMING PROJECT MEETINGS

The 4-H Spurs and Furs will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 6:30 p.m. at the extension office. This will be a potluck dinner. This meeting is open to new members and parents.

The 4-H Young Riders will meet on Friday, Dec. 19, 6:30 p.m. at the extension office. New members and parents are invited to attend. Each family should bring a snack and 2 liter.
