The 2012 Kentucky State Fair was a record-breaking year in terms of overall attendance. The Washington County FFA members made certain these spectators would not be disappointed. Exhibiting livestock, presenting locally-grown crops, competing in livestock judging and agronomy team competitions are just a few of the activities in which the Washington County FFA members achieved ribbons, plaques and premiums. A long summer of growing these livestock products generally concludes at the Kentucky State Fair. Many of these crops will also be on display at the Springfield/Washington County Harvest Festival in October, as well. Washington County FFA strives to educate students in agriculture through the FFA motto - Learning to Do, Doing to Learn. Earning to Live, Living to Serve!
