It’s less than two weeks until Election Day, and while politicians across the land are making their final pitches for your vote, another group is getting ready to tally your votes.
Washington County Clerk Glenn Black and his staff are busy handling the absentee balloting process locally, and county clerks across the state are also in this stage. Black said the county has about 200 absentee voters in all, with approximately 100 using the mail ballot and the other 100 voting on the absentee machine at the courthouse.
