The St. Catharine Patriots (18-18, 10-8) ran into a red-hot Georgetown College (27-4, 14-3) team this weekend, losing all three games in the MSC series.
The Pats lost 4-3, 5-2 and 6-1 and dropped into fourth place in the Mid-South Conference.
“We had our chances,” noted Patriot skipper Luther Bramblett. “We left too many people on base in the opener and lost. We never regained our approach at the plate after that. They’re a good team, and when you have chances against quality oppenents, you must score them.”
