Bears finish Blake Hoppes play undefeated; play for title Saturday in Campbellsville

The fifth and sixth-grade Springfield Bears will play for the championship Saturday after completing a perfect 5-0 regular season. The Bears will face the Lebanon Raiders at 8 p.m. at Campbellsville University.

The 2010 Blake Hoppes Youth Football League wrapped up its regular season on Sunday. In action in Campbellsville, the third and fourth-grade Springfield Patriots came up short in a 14-0 loss to the Campbellsville Saints. The Pats finish their season at 2-4.
The fifth and sixth-grade Springfield Bears beat the Campbellsville Bengals, 36-14. The Bears finished the regular season with a perfect 5-0 record.
The Bears will play the Lebanon Raiders for the 5-6 title. The game will be played at 8 p.m. at Campbellsville University.
