BIRTHS - Buckman: It’s a boy!

Sara and Jason Buckman of Springfield announce the birth of their son at 10:23 a.m. on April 12, 2012 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

Smith Alexander Buckman weighed 6 pounds, 6 ounces and was 19.5 inches in length.

He was welcomed home by a brother, Patrick Arnold, age 10.

Maternal grandparents are Bob and Rhonda Osborne and Mike and Connie Kays, all of Springfield.

Paternal grandparents are Brenda and Russell Buckman of Springfield.
