Thirty-two Boosters were in attendance this week for their weekly meeting and luncheon.

The Boosters will be having Bingo and a silent auction on Nov. 7. The silent auction always has a lot of homemade breads and desserts suitable for Thanksgiving dinner.
Our Boosters Thanksgiving luncheon will be held this year on Nov. 14.
Those mentioned this week with illness were Doris Grimes, Brenda Stevens, Jane G. Shewmaker, Dot Davis, Kathy Peavler, Albert Lewis, Lisa Dean, Isaiah Rigsby, Ramona Moore and Ronnie Stumph’s granddaughter.
Bro. Knecht brought the devotional and told us that a small amount of untruth can be deadly. The only book that can be trusted as the complete truth is the Bible.
Mrs. Knecht shared an experience that she and her grandson had this week when they were able to meet “Turtleman.” He was very cordial to them and gave her grandson autographs and pictures. They also met “Turtlemom,” who presented her grandson with a baby turtle.
The next event planned for the Community Center will be in November when “Flatlick Express” will be in concert.
