The Springfield City Police were dispatched to a home on the 100 block of Covington Avenue in regards to second-degree burglary on Dec. 13 around 5 p.m.
According to the police report, someone broke in the back door of the residence between noon and 4 p.m. on Dec. 13 and stole a Playstation 3, a controller and a video game.
The value of the property was estimated at $456. The case remains open.

- A domestic-related incident was investigated by Springfield City Police on Dec. 9 around 5:15 p.m. on Bardstown Road.

- The Springfield Police Department and Washington County EMS responded to an injury accident on KY 555.
Linda R. Spears of Lebanon told police that Jerry A. Bugg veered into her lane. Spears told police that she tried to get out of the way but was unable to do so. A witness to the accident told police that Bugg’s vehicle was in the far right lane and then just started going across the road.
Officer Tony Golden wrote in the report that Bugg had no smell of alcohol or other intoxicants. However, Bugg was unsteady on his feet, took several seconds to answer questions and could not remember anything that had happened.
Golden reported that Bugg may have been affected by a seizure he had earlier in the day.
