The football Commanders will be on the road tonight as Washington County travels to Danville to face the Admirals in a must-win district battle that will determine if WC will get a home game in the first week of district playoffs.
Both teams bring identical 2-6 (1-1) records into play. Looking at the numbers on the year so far, Washington County has a slight edge, averaging 23 points per game to Danville's 21.25 ppg average. The Commanders have given up 29.875 ppg, while the Ads have allowed opponents to score an average of 33.375 ppg. The Admirals beat the Commanders 41-21 last year in Springfield.
