Commanders continue to top state 2A leader boards

Washington County quarterback Joe Joe Simms continues to lead Kentucky Class 2A in passing yardage, touchdowns and completion percentage for players with five minimum games played on the season according to stats at www.khsaa.org.

Simms has tallied 1,439 net passing yards through six games and has 15 touchdown passes. He has completed 110 of 181 attempts for a completion rate of 60.7 percent.
