County invests in safety

At their meeting on Nov. 24, the Washington County Fiscal Court approved the renewal of the One Call Now contract. One Call Now is a service that lets the county call every county resident with a pre-recorded message in the event of an emergency.

The service includes a mapping feature which allows geographic selection of areas to be notified by telephone in the event of an emergency.
