Rachel Marie Cox and John Wesley McDaniel were wed at 6 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2011 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Louisville, Ky.
She is the daughter of James and Penny Cox of Louisville.
He is the son of Rev. John and Diane McDaniel of Springfield. She is the granddaughter of Betty Douglass of East Lansing, Mich., and the late Bud Douglass and Joseph Cox of Grand Prairie, Texas, and the late Helen Cox.
He is the grandson of Kathlyn Haefner Hare of Springfield, and the late Wesley C. Haefner, and the late Buena Vista and John W. McDaniel.
The officiants for the double ring ceremony were Father Tony Smith and Reverend John McDaniel, father of the groom.
The maid of honor was Katie Johnson, childhood friend of the bride.
The matron of honor was Katie Essex, sister of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Kati Norrington, Brittney Branson, Chelsea Johnson and Ashley Ray.
Serving as flower girls were Quincy Francis and Avery Francis, cousins of the bride.
Mark McDaniel, brother of the groom, was the best man.
Groomsmen were Drew Daniel, Spencer Joyce, Adam Pfeifer, Mitchell Morrell, Mark Ray, Bradford Spicer and Corey Anderson.
A dinner followed the ceremony at the Galt House’s Rivue Restaurant.
A reception was held in the Waterford Room with Endless Summer Band providing the music.
After a wedding trip to Aruba the couple are making their home in Fishers, Ind.
