First swine flu case may have been found in Washington County

4-year-old may have H1N1 virus

Tests are being conducted at this hour in Frankfort by health officials to determine if a Washington County 4-year-old actually has the H1N1 virus, known as swine flu.

According to Wendy Keown, public information officer of Lincoln Trail District Health Department, the case is currently listed as a "probable case" of swine flu. The results of the test are expected Monday afternoon.

Keown said the child has not been hospitalized at this time.
