Emily Zubricky has an impressive resume, both athletically and academically. The Florida native will bring those talents to St. Catharine College next fall as a member of the Patriot bowling team.
“We are looking forward to having Emily as part of our program next season,” said SCC coach Larry Luvisi. “She is a good bowler and an excellent student. She will fit in well at St. Catharine.”
Zubricky, from West Orange High School in Howey-in-the-Hills, Fla., has been bowling for 15 years and has added quite a few accomplishments during that time. She was the Orange County Bowler of the Year, a first-team All-Metro Conference selection, the Brighthouse Networks Bowler of the year and Orange County Academic All-Metro Conference for her 3.45 grade point average. Her high school team has compiled a 51-4 record with her as the anchor bowler and the team has been undefeated in winning three Metro Conference championships.
“My goal has been to bowl in college and become the best bowler that I can be,” said Zubricky who plans to major in Advanced Medical Imaging.
