Tobacco GAP training:
In case you haven’t heard, selling tobacco this year will require a GAP Certificate. GAP stands for Good Agricultural Practices and is being required by all tobacco companies. Some of the companies have been doing this for a few years but this winter the companies met and decided that everyone purchasing tobacco would require this certificate. There have been and will be many meetings across the State offering this opportunity to producers.
