The musical “Godspell” will be performed at the Opera House on Friday and Saturday, June 4 and 5 at 7 p.m. and on Sunday June 6 at 2 p.m. as directed by Scott Fattizzi.
The word “Godspell” is actually a very ancient way of spelling Gospel.
This musical itself is based on the parables of Jesus Christ, but told through song and dance. It was first written and performed almost 40 years ago. You may just enjoy the music, and there’s a lot of it, but it’s meant to make you laugh and smile while you’re learning something important.
