Washington County Sheriff Tommy Bartley is searching for two suspects in a July 2 home invasion on Hardesty Road.

According to Bartley, Ernest Hardin was lying in a back room and heard a noise in his kitchen around 3:30 or 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2. He found a short, dark skinned female in his kitchen. While talking to the woman, a tall, thin, dark-skinned male entered the home. The couple took approximately $600 in cash, as well as some prescription drugs from the home.

Hardin had few details about the vehicle the couple was driving due to the location where they had parked, but he did tell Bartley it had a spare tire on the rear of the vehicle.

Anyone with information should contact the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at (859) 336-5400.
