High school basketball fans will see a couple of minor rule changes this season, and you may have noticed one of them already.
The Kentucky High School Athletic Association has implemented a rule this year that all high school basketball games will include a running clock for games in which one team gains a 35-point lead in the second half. The clock will continue to run for the remainder of the game and will only stop for team timeouts, injury or disqualification and free throws.
