Is it over yet?
Well, here it is early Tuesday morning and I think right about now is when the Super Bowl is scheduled to end. Keep in mind that the pre-game shows started somewhere around last October!
OK, I may be exaggerating a little. But you get my point, right? Do we really need all of this coverage before the big game? I think it’s mostly the idea of all of these ad executives who try to find a way to hype anything to cash in on the audience.
It’s a Catch 22 - the game draws the viewership, which in turn makes companies want to hock their goods or services to a captive audience, therefore, the network airing the game can charge $3 million for a 30-second spot.
Now, all of this is OK in my book as long as there can be one condition - all the spots must somehow feature Danica Patrick!
