With the Mets already clinching the 9-10-year-old Little League baseball crown, the Marlins and Orioles battled it out last week for second place.

The Marlins, 2-6 entering the game, topped the O’s, who entered at 3-5, as both teams finished the season at 3-6.

In the 11-12-year-old league, the Royals had already clinched first place, while the Nationals and Reds battled for second place last week. The Reds came out on top, finishing the season at 4-5, while the Nationals fell to 3-7.

In 11-12-year-old softball, the Reds rolled to a championship with six wins over the O’s, but the 9-10-year-olds still have plenty to sort out with two games to play.
The Marlins (2-2) and Angels (2-2) split each of their four meetings entering this week.
