With the cost of gas prices and vacations in general, many families have been looking close to home for alternatives to the summer vacation. One event coming in August that the entire family can enjoy is the Kentucky State Fair which will run August 18-28. Washington County residents are fortunate that being located in central Kentucky gives close access to many events that take place in the Louisville area including the KY State Fair.
