ONGOING EVENTS

Holiday Closings

All county offices will be closed for Christmas, Dec 23 thru Dec. 26.
PVA, WC County Clerk, WC Circuit Clerk, and judge’s offices will be closed Dec. 30 thru Jan 2 for New Years.
The sheriff’s office will be open all day Dec. 30 and half a day on Dec. 31, and will be closed Monday, Jan 2.
If you need assistance, please contact the Springfield Police Dept. at 336-5450 and a deputy will be dispatched.

Al-Anon

When you don’t know where to turn...because someone drinks too much, Al-Anon Family Groups can help. Meetings in St. Dominic Church basement on Tuesday at 8 p.m.

LTADD Meeting

The Lincoln Trail Area Development District Board of Directors will meet Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 1:15 p.m. at the Lincoln Trail ADD office.
 
Saturday, Dec. 24

Christmas Eve Mass

St. Catharine Motherhouse will be celebrating Christmas Eve Mass at 8 p.m. in St. Catharine Hall.
Carols and concert will be at 7:30 p.m. before the Mass. Light refreshments will be served after the Mass.
Holy Rosary Church Springfield Christmas Mass schedule: Christmas Eve at 5 p.m. and 12 midnight; Christmas Day at 11 a.m. only.

Christmas Eve at Mackville

The Mackville United Methodist Church, 10553 Main Street in Mackville will hold a candlelight Christmas Eve on Saturday, Dec. 24 at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 31

New Year’s Eve Gospel Sing

A New Year’s Eve celebration will be held at Cumbo’s Old Gospel Barn, 11286 Louisville Road, Cox’s Creek at 7:30 P.m. Saturday, Dec. 31. Music by Common Creek Band, The Samaritans Blessed, the Sheltons, Cumbos and more. Come help us sing and pray in the new year. Please bring a covered dish for the fellowship meal. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
