A New Year’s Eve celebration will be held at Cumbo’s Old Gospel Barn, 11286 Louisville Road, Cox’s Creek at 7:30 P.m. Saturday, Dec. 31.
Music by Common Creek Band, The Samaritans Blessed, the Sheltons, Cumbos and more.
Please bring a covered dish for the fellowship meal.

Extension Office Closing

The Washington County Extension Office will be closed until Tuesday, Jan. 3 for the holidays.

Saturday, Jan. 7

Sen. Jimmy Higdon is inviting citizens to the 10th Annual Prayer Breakfast with Brother Lee Watts, known as “Chaplain to the State Capitol,” on Saturday, Jan. 7, at Lebanon United Methodist Church.
Breakfast and fellowship will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the prayer service will start at 9 a.m. at the church, which is located at 236 North Spalding Avenue in Lebanon.
Higdon represents Kentucky’s 14th Senate District, which covers Marion, Mercer, Nelson, Taylor and Washington counties.
