No serious injuries after accidents

According to a press release from Kentucky State Police (KSP), trooper Fred Cornett investigated an injury collision that occurred four miles west of Willisburg  on Hardesty Rd.  at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday.  

Solon Young, age 51 of Louisville, was operating a 2004 Chevy westbound on Hardesty Rd. when he lost control, ran off the roadway and struck a tree.  
He was treated and released from Spring View Hospital.  
A passenger in the vehicle, James Hahn III, 26, of Bloomfield, was also treated and released from Spring View Hospital.  
Both Young and Hahn were wearing seat belts.  
Young was arrested and lodged in the Marion County Detention Center for DUI third,  aggravating circumstances, driving on DUI suspended license first, and no insurance.
In a separate accident on Monday, a vehicle traveling eastbound toward Springfield on Bardstown Road near Pat Mattingly Inc. dropped off the shoulder, over-corrected, went sideways, went into the creek and overturned.
Jackie Robinson with the Washington County Sheriff’s department said that the Kelsey Barber, 22, of Bardstown suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by EMS.
