Old church to get new life as clinic

WILLISBURG — Work continues on the renovation of the former Willisburg Baptist Church in downtown Willisburg. The 104-year-old building was purchased by Larry Boblett, who plans to transform the old sanctuary into a gathering area for senior citizens. Willsburg Mayor Pat Kirsch said seniors will be able to convene there daily for coffee and chats. The Willisburg landmark will also likely house a medical center and space for two apartments.
