It took over just 104 minutes to decide the outcome of Tuesday’s soccer match between St. Catharine and the visiting Panthers from Hanover College. When the game was decided, it wasn’t to the benefit of Tim Wolz’s Patriots. Hanover (4-7) took advantage of a loose ball in front of the goal and converted with 5:53 to go in the second overtime for a 2-1 win.
The setback left St. Catharine with a 1-6-1 record as they embark this Sunday for a game at West Virginia Tech. The next Mid-South Conference game is at home against Rio Grande on Oct. 11.
