Pats 11th in first tourney

The St. Catharine College men’s golf team traveled to Crooked Creek Golf Course in London, Ky. last week to play in the Bill Sergent Invitational hosted by the University of the Cumberlands. The Patriots finished 11th place in a 15-team field.

St. Catharine carded a 36-hole total of 640 for the tournament played Thursday and Friday. Cumberlands’ total of 578 was good for first place, nine shots ahead of second place Southern Wesleyan University.
