Now the season comes down to one game. Or, in other words, the end of the Patriot soccer season could be today depending on the outcome of the 8 p.m. game at Georgetown College.
The Patriots put themselves in the do or die situation when they lost Thursday at Cumberland University 5-1. That setback put them in a tie for eighth place with Georgetown, both teams at 2-6.
With eight of the ten conference teams making the Mid-South Conference, the loser of tonight’s game is done while the winner advances to the post-season.
