The value of our volunteer fire departments was confirmed on Wednesday evening, July 18.
The response time was phenomenal - estimated at 15 minutes. And, once the “volunteers” arrived, they began work in a highly-professional manner.
The location of the fire was immediately determined and an action plan was implemented without delay. The “volunteers” worked as a team and stayed until the situation was under control.
We are grateful for the outstanding effort of these highly-motivated and highly-trained volunteers.
The fire department volunteers are truly professional in training and attitude.
These folks are a tremendous resource to the Washington County community.
We need to support, encourage and thank them at every opportunity.
We will be forever appreciative of the help that was provided to us and for the rescue squad for being there for the volunteers.
