Dear Editor,

I put flowers on my family’s graves in the Willisburg Cemetery this past Memorial Day Weekend. With the new road that has been built, I was able to get in and out without having to wait. With it being such a busy weekend, I am usually stuck for a while as I travel from Taylor County. Thanks to all who were responsible for adding the new road. Also it is handicap accessible for people who aren’t able to walk to their loved ones’ graves. My husband and I own graves there as well. We chose Willisburg because of the rest of my family members. The cemetery grounds and buildings always look great. Thanks to the caretaker.

Dear Editor,

On Saturday, May 29, my wife and I attended a very simple but appropriate ceremony honoring our veterans at the Willisburg Cemetery. That ceremony was very meaningful to me as a Marine veteran of the Vietnam War.

We quickly noticed how well kept and maintained the cemetery was. Our congratulations and appreciation to the cemetery staff.

We are particularly pleased with the new road that has been opened across the cemetery. That road would seem to make it more convenient for people who have loved ones buried in what appears to be the older part of the cemetery. Especially if older people are involved in visiting gravesites there.

Our final resting place will be the Willisburg Cemetery so its care and maintenance is very important to us.
