The Rise Youth Group from Washington County Schools came on Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 21.
They sang Christmas songs, played the piano, and presented everyone with a gift and a card. Everyone had a great time with the students. We appreciated what they did for us. It’s great to have young people together with adults. You can see the event on Central Kentucky Television on Channel 6.
Joe Hamilton and the Country Connection karaoke group sang a variety of songs for us Saturday night, Dec. 15. Everyone who participated enjoyed this wonderful night of music.
The EMS hosted a Christmas party on Thursday, Dec. 20 here at the facility. The residents enjoyed their refreshments, gifts and visits. It was very thoughtful of Mark Hale and his team to have a Christmas party for us.
Our Christmas tree with Santa party was terrific!
Families, residents, staff, Santa and his helpers came together to celebrate Christmas. The refreshments were enjoyed by all in attendance. The presents were many and pictures were taken with Santa Claus. Diane McDaniel played Christmas music on the piano. Everyone had a great time.
The Carpenter Brothers and Friends Band entertained us with a variety of music including Christmas songs like “An Old Christmas Card,” “Blue Christmas,” “Daddy Looked a Lot Like Santa” and “Christmas Times A Coming,” just to name a few. It was nice of Donnie, Ronnie, Billie Joe, Joe and Charlie to entertain us on Saturday night, Dec. 22.
We take this opportunity to wish all of our readers a happy and prosperous new year!
We are looking forward to all of your support in the coming year.
