The Mid-South Conference recognized soccer athletes last week at the conference tournament’s final four played in Lexington. A total of eight Patriots received recognition on the all-conference squads.

Four women from St. Catharine received honorable mention all-conference. Freshman Nicolette Catlett and sophomore Sally Mattingly, both from Bardstown, received the honor, as did Danielle Mistler, a senior from Harrison, Ohio and Krista Russell, a freshman from Independence, Ky.

The St. Catharine men also placed four players on the honorable mention squad. Will Meza from Shelbyville and Jonathan Foster from Nicholasville, both seniors, were named as were freshmen Thomas Paris (Ocala, Fla.) and Isaac Blanford (Waverly, Ohio). Foster was also named to the All-Academic team for players who had a 3.2 or better GPA.
