The owner of Raywick Bar and Grill, Chris Gribbins, 46, of Hodgenville has been arrested and charged with murder and second-degree assault following a shooting in Raywick Friday, Nov. 9.
David Litsey, 22, a graduate of Marion County High School, was shot outside of the Raywick Bar and Grill. He was transported to Spring View Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.
Gribbins was also charged with second-degree assault after allegedly assaulting Phillip J. Franklin, 22, of Springfield. According to KSP, the assault was a separate incident that occurred prior to the shooting outside the rear of the bar.
Michael Gibson, 48, of Raywick, was also arrested and was charged with second-degree assault and terroristic threatening in connection with the alleged assault of Franklin.
The Lebanon Police Dispatch was contacted at 1:21 a.m. Nov. 9 regarding the incident. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky State Police responded to the scene.
Gribbins is being held at the Marion County Detention Center on $540,000 bond. He is scheduled to be in court Tuesday, Nov. 13.
The details surrounding the shooting are still under investigation. KSP Detective Bradly Stotts is conducting the investigation.
