Springfield resident injured in Loretto accident

Kentucky State Trooper Kevin Roberts is investigating a collision that occurred on Monday, Nov. 19 at 6:29 p.m. at the intersection of St. Francis Hwy. and Holy Cross Road in the limits of Loretto.

Fifty- year-old Mary Gootee of Springfield was traveling south on St. Francis Hwy., operating a 2003 Dodge Neon. 

She made a left turn from Holy Cross Road onto St. Francis Hwy. and pulled into the path of a 2005 Ford Escape.  The Escape was operated by 35-year-old Elizabeth Thompson of Bardstown.
