Ghosts, ghouls and goblins of all sizes took to the streets of Springfield last Friday looking for a few victims. Not to worry though, because these creatures of the night were just local kids dressed in their spook-tacular costumes and the victims most likely got away by giving away treats.
It was all part of the city’s annual Trick or Treat on Main Street. Springfield City Administrator Laurie Smith said they had a tremendous crowd and that some businesses reported giving out candy to approximately 1,000 children.
