Stella Maye Coulter, age 73, of Coulter Lane, Willisburg, passed away at 8:38 a.m., Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at the University of Louisville Hospital.
A native of Washington County, she was born on May 15, 1939 to the late Revel and Ruby Lewis Coulter.
She was a member of the Fairview Christian Church, a graduate of Willisburg High School and a former employee of Sol-Tech Insulation Company of Shelbyville.
Preceding her in death were a son, Donald Lynn Waldridge in 1964; two sisters, Mary Pearl Toll and Serena Coulter; and three brothers, James Luther Coulter, Clyde Joseph Coulter and Ezra Coulter.
Survivors include three daugthers, Barbara Janes (Ricky) of Springfield, Peggy Coulter of Willisburg and Carolyn Lewis of Lebanon; three grandchildren, Amanda Gayle Janes, James Michael Gregory and April Nicole Carr; five great-grandchildren, Courtney, Brianna, Elissa and Jonathon Jones and Steven Williams; and one brother, Tommy Coulter of Willisburg.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Monday, Dec. 31 at Carey & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Everett Hood, pastor of the Brush Grove Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial was in Fairview Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Roland Arnold, Ronnie Lewis, Randall Chesser, Ernie Akin, Blair Hale and Paul Sims.
Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
