As things settle into place in the fall 2011 semester at St. Catharine College, new students are not the only new faces around campus. There have been several new hires since graduation happened last May.

Melinda Lynch was hired as SCC’s new Director of Financial Aid. Stephanie Testa is the new Department Chair of Surgical Technology, while Lisa Taylor is the new Laboratory and Clinical Coordinator for Surgical Technology.
Dr. Meenakshi Bansal is a new adjunct instructor of natural sciences and Lee Ann Paynter and Claire Pope are new adjuncts in fine arts. Jim Glenn and Rod Stearn are new adjunct instructors of history and political science, Ken Shelver is a new adjunct instructor in business, management and CIS and Linda Beal is a new math adjunct.
Tori Brady was hired in food services. Carissa Coslow has been hired as research assistant in Institutional Research and Effectiveness, Alicia Clark is a new admissions counselor and Emily Mann and Amanda Knopp are new Student Envoys. SCC is also proud to welcome Jaclynne Keen as new resident director of Aquinas Hall.
Several new additions to the athletic staff have happened over the past few months as well. Jason McDannold and Kristen Michael are new assistant coaches for women’s volleyball. Thabiso “Boyzzz” Khumalo is a new assistant coach for men’s soccer.
SCC grad Arthur Latham is the new assistant coach for men’s basketball. Jim Coomer is the coach for the newly developed tennis program. Andrew Huggins is working as the new athletic department intern for the fall semester.
Each of these new additions to the SCC family only strengthens the quality of higher education offered at St. Catharine College.
If you are on campus, please take some time to say hello to our new family members.
