WC baseball team tops E-Town in 5th Region opener

The Washington County Commander baseball team beat E-Town 7-2 in the opening round of the 5th Region baseball tournament this afternoon. The Commanders will face the winner of Campbellsville/Green County Tuesday at Central Hardin High School.

Junior third baseman Tyler Coulter set a new single-season hit record for the Commanders with 57 hits, topping the mark previously held by Bradley Coyle.
