WC gets Glasgow in class 2A first round again

Washington County football meet a familiar face in the first round of the Kentucky class 2A playoffs on Friday. The Commanders (2-8) will be on the road against Glasgow (8-2) in a rematch of last year’s first round.

The Scotties won that contest 62-6 on their way to the championship game, where they finally fell to Holy Cross (Covington).

Glasgow saw a lot of the players from that game depart through graduation, but Washington County Head Coach Eric Sagrecy said the Scotties have still put a good football team on the field this season.
