WC golf takes third in All-A

The Washington County varsity boys’ golf team hit the road for Green County last Wednesday to try to defend its 5th Region All-A title, but was unseated by the hometown Dragons. The Commanders, however, are off to a solid start after five matches.

Green County posted a team score of 349, while Bethlehem took second place by shooting 356, followed by Washington County at 369. Bardstown (398), Campbellsville (416) and Caverna (444) rounded out the six-team field.
