WCHS football golf scramble is Saturday

The Washington County High School football booster club will host the third annual Washington County Football Boosters’ Commander Golf Classic benefitting the team Saturday, Aug. 2 at Lincoln Homestead State Park Golf Course.

The event begins at 7 a.m. Saturday with registration, followed by an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

Prizes will be offered, including a chance to win a car by hitting a hole in one. Other prizes will also be awarded for closest to the pin and the longest drive.
