WCHS November students of the month

The following students from Washington County High School were selected as Students of the Month.

This is sponsored by FRYSC, and students were nominated and voted for by the teachers.

Senior – Will Begley
Will Begley is the senior student recognized this month. He is the son of Kenny and Cindy Begley.
His favorite teachers are Mr. New and Mrs. Messer. His favorite classes are AP government and AP calculus.
The school activities he enjoys are baseball, National Honors Society, 4-H Club, BLAST and the Army Reserve teen panel. He enjoys learning, new ideas, playing sports and hanging out with his friends.
His future plans are to attend the University of Louisville, Civil Engineering Speed School.

Junior – Michael Sandusky
Michael Sandusky is the junior student recognized this month. He is the son of Mike and April Sandusky.
His favorite teachers are Mr. Mattingly, Mr. New and Mrs. Ray. His favorite classes are pre-vet and government.
The school activities he enjoys are FFA and the Washington County bass fishing team. He enjoys working for a brighter future, hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends.
His future plans are to attend Eastern Kentucky University and become a wildlife biologist.

Sophomore – Will Drury
Will Drury is the sophomore student recognized this month. He is the son of Tony and Kim Drury.
He likes all of his teachers and his favorite classes are math and science.
The school activities he enjoys are the academic team, tennis, football, sports, classes and his friends. He is a football fan.
His future plans are to attend Georgetown and major in the medical field or mathematics.

Freshman – Melanie Miles
Melanie Miles is the freshman student recognized this month. She is the daughter of Brad and Michelle Miles.
Her favorite teachers are Mrs. Davenport, Mrs. Lanham and Mrs. Ray. Her favorite class is AP biology.
The school activities she enjoys are FCCLA and FCA. She enjoys coming to school to learn and hanging out with friends.
Her future plans are to attend the University of Louisville and become a pediatrician.
