The Washington County Middle School Generals football team won their first game in five years on Aug. 9, defeating Taylor County 26-20 in the OKH Kickoff Bowl.
“It's been a long drought,” said WCMS head coach Timmy Lawson.
Tyler Loving rushed for 99 yards, while Alex Marshall ran for 89 yards and Christopher Jewell rushed for 40 yards.
The big challenge for the Generals will be this weekend when they play at St. Charles.
