The deuces are wild in 11-12-year-old Little League play at Idle Hour Park. After two full weeks of action, all four teams have 2-2 records.
Last Monday, the White Sox evened their record to 2-2 with a win over the Cubs. Starting pitcher Michael Chastain got the win for the White Sox, while Cubs starter Trae Coulter took the loss despite having three hits on the day.
Chastian and Alex Townes each had a hit for the White Sox.
In a doubleheader on Tuesday, the White Sox fell to the Cardinals, 4-3. Jake North got the win on the hill for the Cards, while White Sox hurler Jacob Howard got the loss.
Addison Riney sent a blast over the fence in left center for a home run. With the score tied 3-3 in the fifth, and a time limit rule in effect, Riney also scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the frame to hand the Cards the win.
Stephen Thompson, Everett Mann and Samuel Powers each had one hit for the White Sox.
In the second game, the Cubs beat the Red Sox, 9-6. D.T. Yocum earned the win for the Cubs, while Issac Yates took the loss for the Red Sox.
Yocum had two hits for the Cubs, while Tanner Yates and Garrett Floyd each had a pair of hits for the Red Sox.
