    Angela and Tony Lay of Willisburg announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Andrea Lay, to Stephen Mudd, son of Ona and Steve Mudd of Springfield.

    Lay is a 2004 graduate of Washington County High School and a graduate of St. Catharine College. She is employed at Sansbury Care Center at St. Catharine.
    Mudd is a 1998 graduate of Washington County High School. He is employed at Mago in Bardstown.

    The wedding will take place at Mt. Washington Baptist Church in Raywick, Ky. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 3 p.m.

    Wesley and Heather Carrico of Springfield announce the birth of their son at 8:53 a.m. Jan. 26, 2012 at Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown.

    Elijah Andrew Carrico weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches in length.
    Maternal grandparents are Bruce and Marcia Roby of Hancock County, Ky.
    Paternal grandparents are Forrest and Faye Carrico of Springfield.
    Great-grandparents are Leo and Regina Carrico, Charlotte and Richard Smith, Elizabeth and Anselm Bickett, Robert and Ora Myrl Roby.

    Ronald F. and Jessica L. Sims of Lebanon announce the birth of their daughter on Feb. 29, 2012 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

    Marleigh Ann Sims weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces.
    She was welcomed home by two brothers, Michael and Dakota Sims.

    Houston Thomas Milburn and Cheyenne F. LeMay announce the birth of their son on Feb. 17, 2012 at 9:52 a.m.

    Brayden Thomas weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce and was 19.25 inches in length.
    Milburn is a student at Washington County High School and LeMay is a student at Jessamine High School.

    Amy Jo and Jerimy Fletcher of Springfield announce the birth of their twin sons on Jan. 4, 2012 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon.

    Jaxon Abel Fletcher weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and Jagger Michael Fletcher weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces.
    They were welcomed home by Dalton Hutchins, age 15 and Hannah Fletcher, age 13.

    Paternal grandparents are the late James Fletcher, and David and Karen Downs of Bardstown.
