    Ava Grace weighed 8 pounds and was 18 inches in length.
    Maternal grandparents are Chip and Janice Vize of Springfield.
    Paternal grandparents are Joe and Carolyn Cambron of Springfield.

  • BIRTH - Lewis: It’s a girl!

     

    Dallas and Lee Ann Lewis of Willisburg announce the birth of their daughter at 9:51 a.m. on June 23, 2012 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.


    Kendall Lee weighed 6 pounds, 14.8 ounces and was 20 inches in length.
    She was welcomed home by a sister, Kylee, age 4.
    Maternal grandparents are Roy and Sherry Boblitt of Willisburg.
    Paternal grandparents are Terry and Cindy Lewis of Willisburg.

  • Whites to celebrate 50 years of marriage

     

    Bill and Brenda White will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012 at the Willisburg Christian Church Fellowship Hall.


    They are the parents of four sons: Reid (Wendy) White of South Carolina, Tommy White, David (Donna) White and Darnell (Hollie) White, all of Willisburg; and 10 grandchildren.

  • Morans to celebrate 70 years of marriage

     

    William Marshall and Dorothea Lee Moran will celebrate 70 years of marriage on Oct. 21, 2012.


    William farmed several years after marriage, and in 1955 went to work at General Electric Appliance Park, retiring in 1989.
    Dorothea worked for Dr. R.A. Hamilton for 30 years and retired in 1988.
    They have lived in the Lincoln Park community for most of their married life.
    They have two children, Ronald Moran and Marsha (Moran) Garner.
    They also have four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
