    He was welcomed home by Claire, age 4 and Will, age 2.

    Ronnie and Bonnie Smith celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Feb. 12.
    The couple have three children, Darrell (Kristy) Smith, Brian (Kristy) Smith and Sheila (Scott) Smith; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

    Clay and Ann Weslen Cheser of Elizabeth-town announce the birth of their daughter on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

    Ann Clayton Cheser weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and was 19 inches in length.
    She was welcomed home by a brother, Matt, age 5 1/2.
    Maternal grandparents are Jackie Mattingly and Lennie Mattingly of Springfield.
    Paternal grandparents are Larry and Debbie Cheser of Harrodsburg.
    Great-grandparents are Wesley and Jean Shewmaker, Mattie Mattingly, Elaine Warner and Bobby and Mary Cheser.

    She was welcomed home by a sister, Sophia Grace, age 2.

  • BIRTHDAY: Pinkston to celebrate 100th birthday!


    The family of Lorraine Darland Pinkston will be hosting a reception to celebrate her 100th birthday.

    The reception will be held on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2012 at the Mercer County Senior Citizen’s Center at Anderson Dean Park on 127 North in Harrodsburg from 2-4 p.m. The family is asking everyone to send/bring a birthday card.   • BIRTHDAY - Celebrating 92nd birthday


    Margie Stine Coulter celebrated her 92nd birthday. She was born Jan. 17, 1920. She is a housewife, has farmed all her life, still has her driver’s license and cooks every day.

    She has one son, Donnie Coulter of Willisburg; two grandsons, Dane (Kelly) Coulter of Lexington and Josh Coulter of Nicholasville; and five great-grandchildren of Lexington.
