    The monthly Contemplative Prayer Day at St. Catharine Dominican  Motherhouse will NOT be held in March.
    The next Prayer Day will be April 21, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    The day includes centering prayer sessions, meditative walking, silence, a presentation on St. Therese of Lisieux, the Little Flower by Sr. Mary Otho Ballard, OP, discussion on the presentation, personal prayer and a blessing.

    The Springfield-Washington County Chamber of Commerce annual membership and awards banquet will take place on Thursday, Feb. 23.
    The event will be held at 6 p.m. at Mordecai’s on Main in Springfield.  
    During the banquet, awards will be presented for Citizen of the Year, Agricultural Leader of the Year, Youth Leader of the Year, Agricultural Achievement, Lifetime Achievement and Sidewalk of Fame.
