Four East High Street lots were sold to Habitat for Humanity last week during the regular scheduled Springfield city council meeting on Oct. 9.

Two local citizens were honored recently by the Springfield Business and Professional Women’s Foundation.

A pair of local residents took what would be a once-in-a-lifetime trip for many Kentuckians earlier this month, but for Philip Campbell, it was one of many adventures he’s found himself on over the last 26 years.

Brittany Lewis, 18, of Springfield was flown to University Hospital in Louisville following a single-vehicle accident at 5:29 p.m. on Oct. 12 near 900 Nerinx Road in Loretto.
